Get Involved – Help Us
IDK is a social enterprise with charitable status, voluntary board of directors and diversified funding streams (CRO 462323, CHY 18589). Your support helps us to continue this website resource, and fund our real-world projects.
As a registered charity, IDK can claim “tax paid” on any donation over €250 made in a single calendar year by PAYE-only taxpayers. So if you donate €250 or more in one specific year, be sure to complete a CHY2 form.
How you can help:
There are many ways you can help IDK. In addition to financial donations, we welcome the support of volunteers.
Financial Contributions:
As a non-profit venture, IDK needs vital finances for its work. Here are some examples of what your donations can help to finance.
- EUR 15 reserves a small city-centre meeting room for a workshop
- EUR 50 gives an hour’s communication support at IDK’s events
- EUR 65 finances our broadband internet access for two months
By making a donation – however small – you will be assisting us to continue to provide this website resource and to fund our IDK project activities.

Please send a cheque or postal order made payable to Irish Deaf Kids and post to: Irish Deaf Kids, Terenure Enterprise Centre, 17 Rathfarnham Road, Dublin 6W. Please include your name, address, phone number and email address to receive a receipt and acknowledgement.

Please visit the PayPal website and send an email to info@irishdeafkids.ie with the funds being donated. We will confirm all donations made via PayPal.
- Standing Order
Please download, print and complete this standing order form and send it to Irish Deaf Kids at the above address for monthly, quarterly or yearly giving.
