Dublin City Marathon 2012
By admin | October 29, 2012
On October 29th, 2012, IDK’s Caroline Carswell is attempting her first-ever full marathon, both as a personal goal and to fundraise for IDK.
Caroline is a keen hillwalker in the Dublin, Wicklow and Kerry hills, and completed the UK Three Peaks Challenge in 1995, while working in the UK.
On iDonate.ie, Caroline’s fundraising page is idonate.ie/carswell if you’d like to contribute (remember, IDK receives no church or state funding).
Many thanks for supporting IDK’s work, as our projects for 2013 take shape.
POST-RACE UPDATE: Caroline finished this race in just under 6 hours: see official tracker at http://bit.ly/TQNodQ. Thanks again to everyone for their support and encouragement around this event: it’s seriously appreciated.
