Update on TCD’s Centre For Deaf Studies Funding

Earlier this month, the news emerged that the Centre for Deaf Studies at Trinity College Dublin might be at risk of losing its core funding.

Last Thursday, an update was left on IDK by director, Dr Lorraine Leeson, advising that the centre will be funded at its current rate for the next three years.

This good news means the centre can continue with existing projects and explore the possibility of rolling out new, complementary projects.
